Refund Policy

This policy describes when refunds are available for DemonDev services and pre-built tools. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1 · Custom development work

  • Deposit (50%) — non-refundable once work has begun. The deposit secures your slot and covers initial scoping/setup.
  • Balance (50%) — refundable in part if the engagement is terminated before delivery. Refund is calculated as: balance − pro-rata value of work already completed.
  • After delivery + acceptance — non-refundable. Bug fixes covered for 30 days under the Terms.
  • Cancellation by Client — must be requested in the Discord ticket. Refunds processed within 14 days via the original payment method where possible.
  • Cancellation by DemonDev — pro-rata refund of any unpaid work; deposit returned if DemonDev cancels for reasons other than AUP violation.

2 · Pre-built Shop items

Pre-built items (those listed in the Shop section) are digital goods delivered immediately on purchase. All sales are final once the source has been delivered, because the buyer has irrevocable possession of the code.

Exceptions:

  • Defective on delivery — if the item does not function as advertised in its description, we will issue either a fix (preferred) or a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • Misrepresentation — if the item materially differs from the listing, full refund within 30 days.

Buyer's remorse, "changed my mind", or inability to deploy due to environmental issues on the Buyer's side are not grounds for refund.

3 · Retainers

  • Retainer fees are billed at the start of each cycle.
  • You may cancel for the next cycle by giving 7 days notice in the Discord ticket. The current cycle is non-refundable.
  • If DemonDev fails to deliver the agreed retainer scope in a cycle, pro-rata refund.

4 · Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us through the Discord ticket is treated as a material breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend any pending or future work.
  • Revoke licenses to any delivered Shop items.
  • Pursue payment via collections.

5 · How to request a refund

  1. Open the original ticket in discord.gg/5dRK2tXfbD.
  2. Describe the issue and the requested remedy.
  3. We respond within 3 business days. Most refunds, when valid, are processed within 14 days.
