Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DemonDevservices ("the Service") operated by DemonDev ("we", "us", "our") at demonworld.shop and via Discord at discord.gg/5dRK2tXfbD. By using the Service or commissioning work, you ("Client", "you") agree to these Terms.

1 · Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to commission work or purchase products. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and have authority to enter into contracts.

2 · Services Provided

DemonDev provides:

  • Custom development — bespoke software including but not limited to Discord bots, FiveM servers/scripts, web applications, mobile applications, AI systems, and crypto bots.
  • Pre-built tools ("Shop items") — ready-to-deploy tools and templates sold as digital downloads.
  • Consulting and support — advisory, debugging, and ongoing maintenance under a separate engagement.

3 · Engagement & Scope

Custom work is scoped in a private Discord ticket. A written summary in the ticket — including deliverables, timeline, and price — together with your written confirmation, constitutes the agreement for that engagement (the "Statement of Work"). The Statement of Work is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

4 · Payment

  • Custom work: a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before work starts. The balance is due on delivery.
  • Pre-built items: paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • Retainers:billed at the start of each cycle. Cancellable with 7 days' notice for the following cycle.
  • Accepted payment methods are listed in your Discord ticket. We do not store payment-card data on our systems.
  • Late payments past 14 days accrue 1.5% monthly interest and may pause active work until current.

5 · Intellectual Property

  • On full payment, the Client receives ownership of the specific deliverable developed under the Statement of Work, with rights to modify, deploy, and use it commercially.
  • DemonDev retains ownership of any underlying frameworks, generic libraries, code patterns, and tooling used across multiple clients. DemonDev grants Client a perpetual, royalty-free license to use these as embedded in the deliverable.
  • Pre-built Shop items are licensed (not sold) per the Shop License Terms in section 6.
  • Client warrants that any content (logos, copy, data) supplied to DemonDev is owned or licensed by Client and indemnifies DemonDev for third-party claims arising from such content.

6 · Shop Item License

Pre-built Shop items are licensed under the following terms:

  • You may use the item on unlimited servers / sites you operate.
  • You may modify the source code freely.
  • You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the original or substantially-similar version to third parties.
  • Free updates are included for 90 days from purchase.
  • 30 days of bug-fix support included.

7 · Acceptable Use

Use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate any engagement that violates the AUP, with no obligation to refund work already delivered.

8 · Refunds

Refund eligibility, conditions, and process are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9 · Warranty Disclaimer

ALL SERVICES AND DELIVERABLES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. DEMONDEV DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10 · Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEMONDEV'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY CLIENT TO DEMONDEV IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. DEMONDEV WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

11 · Indemnification

Client agrees to indemnify and hold DemonDev harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of: (a) Client's use or misuse of deliverables; (b) violation of these Terms or the AUP; (c) third-party rights infringed by Client-supplied content; or (d) Client's deployment of deliverables in production.

12 · Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice in the Discord ticket. On termination by Client: deposit is non-refundable; work-in-progress fees are due. On termination by DemonDev for AUP violation: no refund. On termination by DemonDev for other reasons: pro-rata refund of any unpaid work.

13 · Dispute Resolution

Disputes must first be raised in the Discord ticket and discussed in good faith for 30 days before any external action. After that period, disputes are resolved by binding arbitration in Client's jurisdiction unless prohibited by local law. Class actions are waived.

14 · Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (DemonDev may update its operating jurisdiction; current jurisdiction is shown in the footer of demonworld.shop.)

15 · Modifications

DemonDev may update these Terms by posting a new version at this URL. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced in the Discord #announcements channel.
